Junior Coordinator

As you may already be informed, Vicki Anderson has decided to hang up the boots as the sole Junior Co-ordinator and have a well earned rest. The Hope Valley Cricket Club management committee would like to thank Vicki for the enormous amount of time and effort that she has put into the development of Junior cricket over the past 6 seasons. I’m sure that many have witnessed her dedication and commitment to the club over this time period, establishing the in2cricket program and identifying a large number of junior players who have transitioned to senior cricket with great success.

Junior Coordination Opportunities
At this point, we are looking for people to coordinate our junior cricket program. Please read below.

The Hope Valley Cricket Club is affiliated with 2 separate cricket associations. Under 15s, 17s & Senior teams play in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association (ATCA), while Under 9s, 11s & 13s play in the North East Junior Cricket Association (NEJCA).

The HVCC is seeking keen individuals to apply to join a Junior Co-ordination Team to lead us into the future. We’re seeking well organised and passionate individuals who will be supported by a dedicated committee.

The following positions are available:

ATCA Junior Co-ordinator (1 person to coordinate the U15 & U17 teams)

NEJCA Junior Co-ordinator (1 person to coordinate the U9/U11/U13 teams)

In2Cricket Co-ordinator (1 person to coordinate)

ATCA Representatives (parent(s) from each team/grade)

NEJCA Representatives (parent(s) from each team/grade)

It is currently the off season for Hope Valley Cricket Club, but not to worry cricket is just around the corner! Until then here are a few dates and points of interest

• Senior Preseason starts 26th August for all seniors.
• Junior Registration Night 20th August.
• July Newsletter due out soon, make sure we’ve got your current details.
• HVCC is currently seeking sponsorship, so if anyone has any information on potential sponsors contact Ash Sykes, Mark Collyer or Richard Holt
• HVCC is currently investigating practice net extensions.

NIGHT AT THE DOGS!!


Hope Valley CC will be holding our annual Night at the Dogs event on 28th of January 2010 at Greyhound ParkTickets are $30 for non playing adults,$10 for under 15's and free for under 5's.
