Off Season 2010/11
It is currently the off season for Hope Valley Cricket Club, but not to worry cricket is just around the corner! Until then here are a few dates and points of interest
- Senior Preseason starts 26th August for all seniors.
- Junior Registration Night 20th August.
- July Newsletter due out soon, make sure we’ve got your current details.
- HVCC is currently seeking sponsorship, so if anyone has any information on potential sponsors contact Ash Sykes, Mark Collyer or Richard Holt
- HVCC is currently investigating practice net extensions.
2010 - "HVCC Night At The Dogs"
The Hope Valley Cricket Club 'Night at the Dogs' will be held on January 28th 2010(confirmed).
at Chasers Restaurant - Greyhound Park
This will be a fun night out with giveaways, raffles and hopefully quite a few winners!
Buy a ticket and come along on the night! Invite your family, friends, workmates, neighbours!
Tickets are $30 for non playing adults,$10 for under 15's and free for under 5's.

New Coach Appointed
Your committee is delighted to announce the appointment of Jeff Wilson as Senior Coach of the Hope Valley Cricket Club for the 2009/10 & 2010/11 seasons.
Jeff brings extensive coaching experience to our cricket club having coached in the ATCA for the last 8 years. Jeff has held the position of senior club coach at Marion for the past 6 seasons and also coached their Under 17 side for 4 of these years.
Jeff's unbridled passion for the game of cricket, superior work ethic & enthusiasm to take the club forward will prove to be big assets in our drive to further our clubs steady progression and to entrench the Hope Valley Cricket Club as the premier club on our side of the city.
Jeff played with Hope Valley throughout the 1990's and conducted specialist junior coaching on a voluntary basis at our club (whilst senior coach at Marion) during 2006/07. In this time Jeff worked with several of our up & coming talented young cricketers who have recently commenced their senior careers.
Jeff is really keen to commence working with our playing group to develop all our players to fulfil their maximum potential.
With senior training starting in a couple of weeks it is full steam ahead, so please take the opportunity to warmly welcome Jeff back to our club!
